Dr. Lucian Warth is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in adult reconstruction and joint replacement. Dr. Warth specializes in both primary and revision hip and knee replacements, including complex revision cases and joint infections. His goal is to help patients with debilitating joint issues regain quality of life, and considers it the most rewarding aspect of his practice.
Dr. Warth attended Stanford University in California, where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences, with a minor in Philosophy. He earned his medical degree at the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, and completed his Orthopaedic Residency at the University of Iowa. He then attended a fellowship in adult reconstruction and joint replacement at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, one of the top facilities for joint replacement in the United States. There, he gained valuable knowledge and skill in hip and knee replacement surgery, learning to take on cases with varying levels of complexity.
Research has been a key part of Dr. Warth’s practice, and he believes it is important to keep up with the latest peer reviewed studies in order to recommend the best surgical options for his patients. He has also published several peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters, and has presented at numerous national conferences throughout his career.
